Ponderosa Silhouette
Plein-aire oil on canvas.
When I was little I thought pine trees were ugly. Too straight in the middle and too scratchy around the edges.
But one day I began to see them differently, and I fell in love with pine trees!
All trees make secret writings with the way they grow and the intersection of branches. But some are particularly eloquent.
